Today, it is commonly believed that if you learn software, you can become an animator. Yet nothing could be further from the truth. Master animators are trained and not born. Software, as is the humble pencil, is merely yet another tool through which an animator can apply their knowledge. However, neither software nor pencils give you that knowledge, nor do they do the work for you. If you place a fully trained master animator on a computer, or give them a pencil, they’ll astound you with their mastery. However, if you put a nontrained animator on a computer, all you will have is a technician creating moving objects ・ as you’ll see all over YouTube and other video platforms.

In Animation Basics, you’ll go beyond software to learn how to realistically convey weight, motion and follow through – critical skills on your journey to become a character animator. You’ll start the course by learning how to animate a bouncing ball, and then evolve that bouncing ball through the creation of both “vanilla” and “personality” walk cycles.

In this 2-D animation course you will learn about the complete process of gesture controlled  animation . You will learn about creating complete animation puppet in photoshop . Complete layer structure , ideal nomenclature and master group information will be given . Then taking that puppet to adobe character animator , you will learn about the complete rigging process . You will also learn about fixing and troubleshooting common errors during rigging process   At last you will learn to animate the same puppet in character animator and we will also create a gesture controlled animation scene at the end of this process .
